Police are looking for two girls involved in an alleged assault on a man travelling in a light rail carriage.
At around 7pm on September 8, two girls approached the man and assaulted him before alighting from the tram at MacArthur Avenue. The victim received facial injuries and was taken to hospital in a stable condition.
One of the young people was wearing a red hoodie, black pants, Nike sneakers with a brown cross body bag and a re-usable cooler shopping bag, and the other a black shirt with a black jacket, blue ripped jeans and two re-usable cooler shopping bags.
Anyone who can identify the girls should contact the Crime Stoppers ACT website or call 1800 333 000.
Police say: “As the individuals in question are believed to be under 18, we have blurred their faces due to legislation that prevents the identification of young people and a criminal incident.”
