Man allegedly kidnapped over business debt

A 52-year-old man was allegedly threatened with a baseball bat and kidnapped from Garran over a business debt on Sunday evening.

Police have charged three men – aged aged 29, 31 and 36 – after they allegedly made demands with threats to the man at the Garran shops at about 7.30am to recover the business debt.

The men then allegedly forcibly confined the man in a vehicle and travelled to a Garran residence and later to Monash.

Police located the victim with the three alleged offenders in Monash, who were subsequently arrested.
