Packaged meat and other goods believed to be stolen have been seized after police searched a Moncrieff residence on Friday. Cash and drugs were also discovered.
In August police say they responded to a possible organised shoplifting syndicate operating at an Amaroo grocery store.
Since then three people have been identified as suspects in multiple shoplifting incidents around the Gungahlin region. They are believed to be responsible for stealing items worth thousands of dollars.

At the Moncrieff search, police seized:
- About 50 grams of methylamphetamine (estimated street value of $25,000).
- $5500 of cash suspected to be proceeds of drug trafficking.
- Several hundred dollars worth of packaged meat and seafood.
- Mountain bikes including one worth about $3000 that was allegedly stolen during an aggravated burglary on a bike shop in Mitchell in June.
Two of the three alleged offenders have been identified, with charges expected at a later date.
