Sexual assault: two men ejected from city bar

Two men were ejected from the bar on Genge Street, Civic, after allegedly making repeated unwanted advances and inappropriately touching female patrons.

At about 12.45am on Saturday, August 9, security staff from the bar alerted police, who spoke with the two men, taking their details, before they were released pending further enquiries.

Police describe the men as South Asian in appearance with one wearing a yellow jumper and the other a white jumper.

Anyone with information about these incidents or who had contact with the men between 9pm on August 8 and 12.50am on August 9 should call 1800 333000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Information can be provided anonymously.
