Two men have been charged after making multiple non-emergency Triple Zero calls in separate incidents on Sunday.
Between about 5.45am and 6.30am yesterday, a 79-year-old Narrabundah man made nine calls to the Triple Zero police emergency line.
The man did not request police assistance and, allegedly, was verbally aggressive during the calls, swearing at the operators.
About 8am, police arrested the man at his home.
Separately, a 30-year-old Ainslie man has also been charged after calling Triple Zero for a non-emergency.
At about 5.45pm, the man called the Triple Zero police emergency line to report a matter that was not an emergency.
He allegedly proceeded to call the emergency line six more times in an hour. He was arrested at home at 7.30pm.
The two men are charged with making vexatious calls to an emergency service number.
