Virgin Australia’s Velocity program will no longer have ties with middle-eastern Etihad Airways as the frequent flyer partnership is replaced by investment partner Qatar, effective immediately.
Last month Newcastle-based regional carrier FlyPelican ended its eight-year partnership with the Velocity frequent flyer program.
In both cases, missing points claims will only be accepted until the end of June.
