Police have seized almost one million dollars worth of drugs from a Turner home. 

A 40-year-old man is on remand facing two counts of drug trafficking, money laundering, unauthorised firearm possession, processing crime and contravening a section order.

During search of the man’s house on Thursday police seized:

• About one kilogram of heroin
• About one kilogram of methylamphetamine
• About 300 grams of MDMA
• About 300 millilitres of GHB
• A handgun and ammunition
• More than $10,000 in cash
• A gold bar worth about $20,000
• A Nissan Skyline GTR worth $160,000
• Three electric scooters
• An electric bicycle

Police were alerted to the man after investigating 20 deaths in 2024 from suspected drug overdoses.

The man has been remanded in custody until June.
