
Police have seized almost one million dollars worth of drugs from a Turner home.
A 40-year-old man is on remand facing two counts of drug trafficking, money laundering, unauthorised firearm possession, processing crime and contravening a section order.
During search of the man’s house on Thursday police seized:
- About one kilogram of heroin
- About one kilogram of methylamphetamine
- About 300 grams of MDMA
- About 300 millilitres of GHB
- A handgun and ammunition
- More than $10,000 in cash
- A gold bar worth about $20,000
- A Nissan Skyline GTR worth $160,000
- Three electric scooters
- An electric bicycle

Police were alerted to the man after investigating 20 deaths in 2024 from suspected drug overdoses.
The man has been remanded in custody until June.
