Motorcyclist injured by hit-and-run driver

The driver of white sedan failed to stop and provide assistance to an injured motorcyclist after a collision at the intersection of Marcus Clarke Street and University Avenue in Civic.

Police say the car continued along University Avenue and Childers Street after the incident at around 7.50pm on May 8.

The 22-year-old male motorcyclist was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Police are seeking witnesses or dash-cam footage of the white sedan that may have had a NSW registration plate beginning with EMF. Call 1800 333000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
