Heavily drunk woman booked twice for drink driving

A 34-year-old woman has been booked twice overnight for drink driving.

About 10.40pm on Saturday she tested positive for alcohol during a random breath testing on Gundaroo Drive in Crace.

She returned a breath analysis of 0.240 at Gungahlin Police Station. The legal limit is 0.05. She was issued a 90-day immediate suspension notice.

By 12.40am on Sunday the woman was stopped by police Gundaroo Drive. She was taken to City Police Station, where she returned a breath analysis of 0.191.

She was arrested by police and will face the ACT Magistrates Court next month on two counts of drink driving and driving with a suspended licence.

Another four drivers were also caught drink driving by Gungahlin Police Station officers during the night.
