Qantas pushes back revived Darwin service

The QantasLink E-190… the type of plane to be flown for the Darwin connection.

By aviation writer Scott Mayman

Qantas direct flights to Darwin are expected to resume in July, but only as a seasonal service for three months.

Qantas cancelled the NT flights last year, but earlier this year announced plans to resume the Canberra-to-Darwin link in June. That’s now believed to have been pushed back to July.

An Embraer 190 jet aircraft will service the Canberra connection with Darwin.
