A woman was allegedly indecently assaulted outside a bathroom at a Civic shopping centre last month.

Police say the incident occurred about 12.30pm on Friday, July 31. Shortly afterwards, a man matching the description of the alleged offender was captured on CCTV walking towards Cooyong Street and Ainslie Avenue.

Police have released images of a man they are seeking to identify.

He is described as Caucasian in appearance, with a fair complexion, medium build and shaved head, and is about 170cm to 180cm tall.

Anyone who recognises the man or witnessed the incident is urged to contact police via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
