A 38-year-old Braddon woman, who was on parole and disqualified from driving, has been charged after allegedly being caught drug driving and found with suspected illicit drugs.
Police say the investigation began in December 2025, when officers searched the woman’s car in Greenway after it was suspected of being linked to drug trafficking.
During that search, police allegedly located several bags containing a white crystalline substance, which were seized for forensic testing.
After forensic results were returned, police later stopped another vehicle driven by the woman on Parkes Way on Saturday evening.
Officers searched the vehicle and allegedly located multiple bags of a white crystalline substance, believed to be methylamphetamine.
The woman has been charged with offences, including drug trafficking, driving with a prescribed drug in oral fluid, and possessing a drug of dependence.
