Woman assaulted on Mt Taylor

A woman was allegedly assaulted while walking her dog on Mt Taylor on Monday morning.

Police say the woman was running along the western walking track about 9am when she was approached by an off-lead dog.

After asking the owner to put the dog on a lead, the man allegedly pushed her to the ground before walking away.

The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, more than 6ft tall and with facial hair.

Anyone who witnessed the incident is urged to contact police via the Crime Stoppers website.
