A 22-year-old woman has been charged with grooming and committing an act of indecency involving a teenage boy known to her.

Police allege the woman supplied alcohol to the boy, groomed him, committed an act of indecency and used a carriage service to procure sexual activity with him between May and July.

The incidents were reported to police on September 18.

About 7pm on Friday, police found and arrested the woman. She was taken to the ACT Watch House.

She has been charged with grooming a young person, committing an act of indecency on a person under 16, supplying liquor to a young person and using a carriage service to procure sexual activity with a person under 16.
