A dark-coloured ute was seen doing burnouts in a Deakin park on Monday night, police say.
Police report the vehicle was revving and performing burnouts in the car park and green space at La Trobe Park about 10pm.
A wooden bollard had been removed from the car park to allow access to the grassed area, but was not found nearby.
Police are seeking witnesses, dash-cam or CCTV footage of the ute in the area around the time of the incident.
