Two teenagers were allegedly struck by a vehicle that failed to stop in Richardson last month.

Police say the teens were struck on Wentcher Place about 8.25pm on August 18 and were treated by paramedics before being taken to hospital for further assessment.

The driver allegedly failed to stop and render assistance or exchange details.

Police have released an image of a vehicle believed to have been involved, described as a grey or silver early-model hatchback or SUV.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has CCTV or dash-cam footage from the Richardson area around the time is urged to contact police via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
