Two teenage boys were taken to hospital with stab wounds following an altercation involving several people at Calwell Shopping Centre.

About 8.45pm on Friday, police received reports of a group of males carrying baseball bats walking in and around the shopping centre.

About the same time, police stopped a vehicle travelling the wrong way through the shopping centre car park.

The driver told police she was taking two occupants to hospital because they had been stabbed.

The boys, aged 16 and 17, were treated by paramedics and taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police believe several people were involved in an altercation, but most had left before officers arrived.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has dash-cam footage from the area between 8.30pm and 9pm on Friday can contact police via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
