A stolen Porsche Cayenne has been found abandoned after allegedly being driven dangerously across Canberra over two days.

Police say the white SUV was stolen from a Forrest home about 3.45am on Monday after offenders broke in and took its keys.

The Porsche was allegedly involved in a petrol drive-off in Hawker that evening before being spotted travelling at high speed on Sulwood Drive, Kambah, early on Tuesday.

Police spotted the vehicle again on Long Gully Road about 1.50pm on Tuesday and attempted to stop it, but the driver allegedly refused and repeatedly tried to evade officers.

The Porsche was later found abandoned in Toole Place, Kambah, with several people seen running from the area. Police are investigating the identity of the driver and occupants.

Anyone with information or dash-cam footage of the Porsche, particularly around Kambah, Richardson or Hume, is urged to contact police via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
