A bus driver was allegedly threatened with death during a disturbance on a service between the city and Belconnen late last year.

Police say a woman boarded a bus at the City Interchange on November 20 before becoming agitated and swearing during the trip.

A short time later, she was directed to leave the bus and allegedly threatened to kill the driver and a passenger before getting off on College Street in Bruce.

Police are now seeking to identify the woman following investigations.

She is described as Caucasian in appearance, with a solid build and short stature.

She was also carrying two suitcases, multiple shopping bags, several paper bags and a blanket.

Anyone who can assist is urged to contact police on 1800 333000 or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
