Police are investigating a suspicious house fire that caused extensive damage to a home in Richardson early Sunday morning.

Emergency services were called to Clift Crescent about 3am after reports of a house fire. The blaze caused significant damage to the property before it was brought under control.

No one was injured.

A forensic examination of the scene has since been conducted and the fire has been deemed suspicious.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed suspicious activity or has dashcam footage from the Clift Crescent or Kiddle Street area between 2.20am and 3.30am on Sunday to come forward.
