A Page man has been charged after police say they located a gel blaster and allegedly illicit drugs in his vehicle at a Giralang petrol station on Saturday night.
Police found the 38-year-old lying beside a running vehicle, drifting in and out of consciousness. They believe he was affected by drugs.
While searching the vehicle to determine what he may have consumed, officers located a tan-coloured Glock-style weapon and a substance believed to be illicit.
Further checks revealed the vehicle was fitted with false number plates, was unregistered and uninsured, and that the man was unlicensed.
CCTV shows the man driving into the petrol station before parking at a pump.
The vehicle was seized as was the weapon along with two vials of a liquid believed to be GHB and the false plates.
The man has been charged with possessing a prohibited firearm, using an unregistered vehicle, unlicensed driving, using an incorrect number plate, and using an uninsured motor vehicle.
