A 44-year-old O’Connor man has been charged with drug trafficking and other offences after police searched his home on Thursday.

Police say investigators had gathered evidence this year relating to the alleged distribution of illicit drugs in the ACT.

Officers allegedly found and seized vials of steroids, scales, small clip-seal bags, including one containing white powder, and a mobile phone at the O’Connor home.

The man has been charged with supplying anabolic steroids, supplying a declared substance without authority, trafficking in a controlled drug other than cannabis, possessing a prohibited article without authority and breaching an intensive corrections order.

Anyone with information about the sale or distribution of illicit drugs in the ACT is urged to contact police via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
