An adult and two teenage boys from NSW have been charged after an alleged arson attack on a Giralang home on Friday.
Police allege two males entered the house in Gidjili Place about 11.10am carrying jerry-cans of fuel, poured fuel throughout the home and set it alight before fleeing.
Two women inside the house escaped with minor injuries.
Police tracked an Audi sedan allegedly used in the getaway to the Federal and Hume highways, where, with assistance from NSW Police, it was stopped. Officers allegedly found fuel-soaked clothing matching that worn by the suspects, along with lighters and face coverings.
An 18-year-old man from Lethbridge Park has been charged with arson and committing an act endangering life by throwing an inflammable substance. Two 17-year-old boys, from Lethbridge Park and Quakers Hill, have also been charged with the same offences.
Police say the home has been targeted in previous arson attacks and investigations into possible links are continuing.
