Master Builders ACT has scored two major wins at the 2026 ACT Training Awards, with its training arm named Small Training Provider of the Year and graduate Emmi Lee named Apprentice of the Year.
MBA Training provides accredited construction training in the ACT and region and will now represent the territory at the Australian Training Awards.
Master Builders ACT CEO Anna Neelagama said the training provider’s award recognised the work of its trainers and administrative staff.
She said developing the construction workforce was particularly important with all 26 construction trades currently experiencing shortages in the ACT.
Recent MBA Training carpentry graduate Emmi Lee was also named ACT Apprentice of the Year.
Ms Neelagama said Ms Lee’s win highlighted the opportunities available to women in the construction industry.
The ACT Training Awards recognise individuals and organisations working in vocational education and training across the territory.
