Police are seeking the public’s help to identify a man following an alleged theft and assault at a sunglasses store in Woden earlier this month.

Police allege the man entered the store about 3.15pm on Saturday, July 4, stole multiple pairs of sunglasses and assaulted a staff member who confronted him before leaving.

The man is described as having a medium build. Police have released an image in the hope someone can identify him.

Anyone who recognises the man is urged to contact police via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
