Man returned to ACT over sex assault charges

A 29-year-old man has been extradited from Sydney and charged over alleged sexual assaults and family violence offences.

Police allege the man sexually assaulted his partner on two occasions and damaged her property during incidents in October and November last year.

Following an investigation, officers from the Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Team arrested the man at a Sydney home on Wednesday.

He was extradited to the ACT and has been charged with sexual intercourse without consent, aggravated act of indecency without consent and aggravated property damage.
