Man dies a week after Hume crash

The ACT’s road toll has risen to five after a 26-year-old man died today following a single-vehicle crash in Hume last week.

Police said the man was critically injured when his car collided with a pole on Tralee Street about 10pm on Monday, February 16.

The driver was treated by paramedics but died in hospital today (Tuesday, February 24).

Major Collision Team investigators are examining the circumstances of the crash and will prepare a report for the coroner.
