Man charged over shopping centre indecency

A 49-year-old Ainslie man has been charged after allegedly committing indecent acts in front of adults and children at the South.Point shopping centre in Tuggeranong on Monday evening.

Police were called to the shopping centre about 5.40pm following reports a man was committing indecent acts in a public area.

He was arrested and charged with an act of indecency in the presence of a person under 16 years and offensive behaviour while in view of a public place.

Investigators are seeking any witnesses to the alleged incidents.
