A 27-year-old Whitlam man has been charged after police allege he shared intimate images of a woman known to him online without her consent and stored child-abuse material on electronic devices seized during a search of his home.
In 2025, NSW Police received a report that the man had been distributing sexual images of the woman without permission. The matter was referred to ACT Policing after it was established he was living in the ACT.
On Friday morning, police searched his home.
During the search, police seized two mobile phones, a laptop and a desktop computer allegedly containing child-abuse material, along with a significant volume of intimate images of a woman. Police will allege the images were shared online without her knowledge or consent.
Officers also allege the man engaged in stalking behaviour by monitoring the woman’s whereabouts.
The man was arrested at the scene and charged with possessing child-abuse material, using a carriage service to transmit sexual material without consent, and stalking.
