Lyneham pedestrian dies after crash

An 89-year-old man has died following a collision in Lyneham last week.

At about 4.30pm on Tuesday, February 17, police responded to reports a car had collided with a pedestrian on Ellenborough Street.

The man was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital in a critical condition.

He died on Wednesday.

The death is the sixth road fatality in the ACT this year.

Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
