
Canberra-founded biological intelligence company Diversity Arrays Technology has been named ACT Exporter of the Year at the 2026 ACT Chief Minister’s Export Awards.
DArT combines genomics, software engineering, artificial intelligence and ecological analytics, with its technology used in areas including food security, agriculture, biodiversity conservation and environmental management.
The company says its technologies and services have supported more than 2000 clients across 1000 organisations, including farmers, breeders, scientists and ecologists.
DArT also won the Sustainability and Green Economy category and will progress to the Australian Export Awards as a national finalist.
Other ACT winners included Australian Membrane Transporter Engineers as Promising Exporter, HiveiQ for Agribusiness, Food and Beverages, BixeLab for Digital and Smart Technologies and Liquid Instruments for Manufacturing and Advanced Materials.
Jamala Wildlife Lodge won the Professional Services category, with Lifa Lab taking Creative, Lifestyle and Design, Clubland Australia named Emerging Exporter, AgriGate Australia Regional Exporter and PPB Technology Small Business.
ACT exports have grown by an average 12.5 per cent a year over the past five years, with services exports worth almost $2.8 billion in 2024-25.
