Bushfires being fought south of Canberra

Multiple bushfires have started in the Namadji National Park, southwest of Canberra, reports Emergency Services.

Firefighters are responding to two ignitions near Cotter Hut, and one near Bendoora Dam.

They say that firefighting aircraft, and remote-area fire teams are working to contain the fires. There is no immediate threat to life or property, however people may see smoke, and helicopters operating in the area.
