Third home person charged over Conder home invasion

An 18-year-old man is the third person to be charged in relation to a home invasion in Conder earlier this year.

Police reported in January that three people armed with weapons invaded a Templestowe Avenue home, threatened a man and a child, and stole a blue Holden Commodore. A neighbour who had come to assist was hit with a baseball bat.

A 24-year-old woman faced court in February and an 18-year-old man faced court in July for their alleged involvement in the incident.

The man, who was 17 at the time of the incident,  faces charges in the Children’s Court of riding in a motor vehicle without consent, aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary, possessing an offensive weapon with intent, damaging property, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, taking motor vehicle without consent and knowingly concerned fail to stop.
