Teens accused of assaulting NSW man in Civic

A 44-year-old NSW man was allegedly assaulted by a group of young people in Petrie Plaza, Civic, near the merry-go-round, late on Saturday night.

The group left the area, but police later apprehended two 16-year-old boys.

Police say that at least four people took part in the alleged assault, with three teens identified and expected to be charged with offences including affray and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

Investigators are seeking to identify anyone involved in the alleged assault or talk to witnesses.
