Teen loses car after hitting 67 clicks above the speed limit

An 18-year-old P-plater, who was not displaying his P-plates, has lost his vehicle and was suspended from driving after he was caught driving 67km/h over the speed limit.

Police radar captured a black Subaru Impreza travelling at 147km/h in an 80km/h zone on Yamba Drive, Mawson, at 1pm on Monday.

The driver was stopped and the vehicle seized. He will receive a summons to attend court at a later date.
