Rider killed as motorbikes collide

A rider has died after two unregistered motorcycles collided along Araluen Road, Araluen, 25 kilometres south of Braidwood on Wednesday night.

NSW police say the 25-year-old male rider of one of the bikes died before emergency services arrived.

The other rider – a 14-year-old boy – was airlifted to Canberra Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Police say both riders were known to one another and were travelling together at the time.
