An 18-year-old man is facing charges in the Children’s Court following a home invasion in Conder earlier this year.
Police say the man, who was 17 at the time and subject to two good behaviour orders, was allegedly part of an armed group that broke into a home and threatened a man and a child.
Police also allege a neighbour who came to assist was struck with a baseball bat before the group fled in stolen cars.
The man is facing charges of riding in a motor vehicle without consent, aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary, possessing an offensive weapon with intent, damaging property, taking a motor vehicle without consent and breaching two good behaviour orders.
He is the second person charged in relation to the home invasion. A 24-year-old woman faced court in February for her alleged involvement in the incident.
