A 19-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly stabbing his mother at their home in Page.
Police say that the man allegedly stabbed his mother multiple times with a kitchen knife at about 8am on Wednesday. He then reported the incident at Belconnen police station and was subsequently arrested.
The woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
