The ACT’s largest mixed-use electric vehicle charging hub opened on Watson Street near the Turner Parklands on Friday.

ActewAGL retail general manager Rachael Turner says the hub will feature dual-port 75kW DC fast chargers, dual-port 22kW AC chargers and will have flexible charging options available to suit a variety of cars.

“From the Nissan Leaf to the latest Tesla, BYD, BMW or Audi models, the EV charging hub can service any one of the 11,000 plus EVs on Canberra roads,” she says.

Equipped with CCS plugs, a CHAdeMO plug and Type 2 sockets, Rachael says the Turner charging hub is the latest addition to ActewAGL’s public EV charging network.

It was funded under round one of the ACT government’s Public EV Charging Infrastructure Fund, Rachael says the Turner hub.
