
UPDATE: Police report that the man has been identified. They say he is expected to be charged with assault and property damage offences at a later date.
An unidentified man head-butted the glass partition on a bus, shattering the glass over the driver, before fleeing.
Police are looking for witnesses to the May 17 incident when, at around 11.30am, the man boarded the bus near the Calwell shops. He refused to pay a fare and became verbally aggressive to the driver. Police say that after a short period, he head-butted the glass partition and broke it, causing the glass to shatter over the driver, before fleeing.
The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, about 170cm tall (5’7”) with dark facial hair. He was wearing a black hat, hoodie and pants, dark shoes, and was carrying a black bag.
