Ahead of its impending budget, the ACT government has announced a spend of more than $15 million on suburban infrastructure projects in central Canberra.
The four-year spend includes:
- Upgrades at the Griffith local shops.
- New toilet facilities at Red Hill and Downer shops.
- Female-friendly change room upgrades in Ainslie and Reid.
- An inner south dog park feasibility study
- Footpaths (including City Walk) and lighting upgrades.
- Stormwater upgrades at Dickson shops.
- Concept design masterplan to renew the City Hill park.
- A new health centre for Griffith.
