A 34-year-old man is accused of strangling another man during a car park dispute in Belconnen on Friday night.
Police say that at around 9pm a male resident attempted to park his vehicle in the car park of his apartment building when another vehicle cut him off.
The driver of the second vehicle – the 34-year-old man – allegedly began yelling at the resident before getting out and approaching his car.
He then allegedly threatened to kill the resident before reaching through an open window to hit and strangle him.
The 34-year-old man is charged with making threats to kill, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and choking, suffocating or strangling another person.
