Woman, 59, held for nuisance calls to Triple Zero

A 59-year-old Phillip woman has been charged after allegedly making 14 non-emergency Triple Zero calls overnight.

Police allege the woman made the calls between about 9.20pm on Monday and 1.45am on Tuesday despite being told to stop.

Officers attended her home about 2am and arrested her.

She has been charged with 14 counts of making vexatious calls to an emergency service number.
