A man was taken to hospital following a motorcycle collision in Oaks Estate on Thursday night.

Emergency services were called to Railroad Street about 9.20pm after an injured man was found on the roadside.

Police say a blue Suzuki GSR750 was located in a nearby drainage channel, and believe the motorcycle was involved in a collision near the intersection of Oaks Estate Road and Railway Street before continuing along Railroad Street and coming to a stop.

The man was treated at the scene by witnesses and paramedics before being taken to hospital.

Police are seeking witnesses or dash-cam footage of the motorcycle travelling in the Oaks Estate and Queanbeyan area around 9pm.
