A large quantity of drugs, cash and a gun were seized during a police search at a Crace home where a 23-year-old man was arrested early Tuesday morning.

At about 4.45am, detectives searched the residence as part of a five-month investigation into alleged drug trafficking and illegal weapons possession.

During the search, officers report finding a foldable pistol, about six kilograms of cannabis in a vacuum-sealed bag, around $500 cash suspected to be proceeds of crime, and fireworks.

Following the search, the man was charged with trafficking cannabis, possessing property suspected of being proceeds of crime, and possessing a prohibited firearm.
