A 29-year-old woman, who was subject to bail conditions, has been charged with burglary after she allegedly broke into a Hackett home and stole property early Sunday morning.
About 12.35am on Sunday, police received a report from a resident who found the woman in their carport.
Police allege the woman gathered property into bags before leaving on foot, with the resident following her.
A short time later, another member of the public approached the pair and spoke with them, during which the woman allegedly threatened to stab him.
The woman was later arrested in Watson.
A search of her belongings allegedly uncovered several items believed to have been stolen from the Hackett address, along with a knife, a student card and mail addressed to other people.
She has been charged with burglary, reckless threat to inflict grievous bodily harm, attempted minor theft, possessing stolen property and possessing a knife without a reasonable excuse.
