AN 18-year-old man and two teenage boys have been charged following multiple burglaries in Fyshwick and Wright in December.
Police have also charged all three with breaching bail.
In the early hours of December 17 police were called to multiple burglaries that had occurred at businesses in Fyshwick. CCTV showed a stolen red Mitsubishi SUV at some of the burglary locations and the vehicle was located later that morning on fire in Isabella Plains.
Investigators identified three people as persons of interest.
Two additional burglaries that occurred in Wright on Thursday, Deccember 28, were also believed to be linked to this group.
On Friday police searched the home of one of the persons of interest where items linked to the burglaries were recovered.
On Sunday, arrested an 18-year-old man and two boys aged 16 and 15 at a home in Canberra’s south.
The 18-year-old man was charged with riding in a motor vehicle without consent, aggravated burglary, joint commission theft, breach of bail and breach of a good behaviour order.
The 15-year-old boy was charged with unauthorised entry of a motor vehicle and breach of bail.
The 16-year-old boy was charged with breach of bail.
Investigations are continuing and further charges are expected to be laid.
