POLICE  have seized drugs, cash and other items while exercising search warrants in Amaroo and Casey as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.

On Thursday police searched a 21-year-old man and his vehicle after he was located in Casey. During the search, police seized a quantity of cannabis and a mobile phone.

Simultaneously, police searched a residence in Amaroo, where they located about 200g of cocaine, cash and numerous items consistent with drug trafficking.

No arrests have been made, however investigations are ongoing and charges related to money laundering and drug trafficking are expected.
