A 24-year-old man faces the ACT Magistrates Court next month after being arrested at a residence in Ngunnawal and charged with unauthorised possession of at least 15  prohibited firearms.

During a search of the home on Wednesday night, police seized:

• One long arm air rifle; 
• Eight gel-blaster pistols; 
• Two gel-blaster rifles; 
• One gel-blaster sniper rifle; 
• One gel-blaster assault rifle; 
• One gel-blaster sub-machine gun and; 
• One handgun cartridge 

Police say gel blasters are prohibited weapons in the ACT.
