
HUNDREDS of items believed to have been stolen have been recovered following the arrest of a woman in a Belconnen carpark.
Police were called to a carpark on College Street in Belconnen at 5.15pm on Wednesday, after a white Hyundai Tuscon – reported stolen in July – was found.
A 38-year-old woman was arrested, and a search of the car revealed 65 phones, six iPads and tablets, three laptops, five sets of wireless headphones, 15 pieces of jewellery, five gaming consoles, five cameras and a sound bar, all believed to be stolen.
She has been charged with riding/driving a stolen motor vehicle, and being in possession of stolen property.
